JKPS would not be the special place it is without the support of our community. Your generosity helps us to deliver a wide range of projects, both big and small, at the school’s request.

Fundraising happens throughout the year at various events, or you can make a one-off donation or set up regular giving personally or through your workplace.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly on a tax free basis to the charities and good causes of their choice. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax, so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you’re a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p.

Employees can choose to support FoJKPS with a regular donation direct from their pay. If you would like to support the FoJKPS through Payroll Giving, please ask your employer about the scheme.

Company Matched Giving

Can you enquire if your employer offers Company Matched Giving?

Employers may pledge to donate to a charity, such as FoJKPS, an amount of money relating to the amount that the employee donates or fundraises.

Gift Aid

Through the Government’s Gift Aid scheme, we can claim an additional 25p for every £1 you donate. So if you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donations to us by 25%, at no extra cost to yourself!

It couldn’t be simpler to do, we ask parents to sign the declaration form to confirm you are a UK taxpayer, you only need to sign it once, and you can cancel it at any time.

Please note: If you pay income tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

Boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer.

Corporate Social Responsibility

If your employer has a Corporate Social Responsibility charter, we’d welcome any opportunities they might offer to match funds raised or pay us for the hours you volunteer, or provide sponsorship at our larger events.
